"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

This is not theft. I only take the position. So everyone is doing, I'm not one so it is not considered a theft. For example set before us the task of copy a particular picture, we are asking nepobezhim to the artist whether it can be repainted. So think before you accuse me than that.
I don't quite understand what you mean from your response - did you or did you not ask permission from the artist to directly copy their work, modify the drawings ever so slightly, upload them as your own and not even mention the original artist or award them any credit for the art? I'm not saying that tracing in itself is a bad thing - it can be used as a learning tool. The problem is when you upload these traced pieces, and when no credit is given to the original artist. Same goes for eye-balled/copied images.
Because that is art theft.
The original artist you copied a lot of your drawings from is *nami86.
I mean what I sketched it is not theft. A true artist, I did not know why and could not specify with whom to reproduce. The next time I will try to indicate the artist. November is still not consider it stealing.
I'm currently very invested in my original characters, so I don't often do fanart. However, Korra is coming out soon, so who knows! haha Maybe I'll do some fanart of it when it comes out.
